I have four girls so most of the cards I create are girly and so are most of the stamps I have. I've been trying to add some stamps that I can use to make boyish or masculine cards. I especially need them for making cards for my nephews. I bought the Skater Ian stamp from The Greeting Farm and I love it! He was a lot of fun to color. I used my Copic markers. Doesn't he look cool! The "You Rock" sentiment is from my Just Jawing set by Stampin' Up! The papers are from a slab that I've had for awhile. I made this card for the principal of my daughter's elementary school. I wanted to butter him up a bit because I'm requesting that my daughter be placed with a certain teacher next year. To soften him up a bit more, I made a matching matchbox with my Big Shot and filled it with nuggets.

This card is for another of my swaps. I had to make a card using any Simply Scrappin' set. Since I didn't have enough of the stickers that come with the kit to make 13 of them, I stuck with making a card just using the papers. I used one of my favorite SU! stamps sets, Classy and Fabulous. This didn't make into the next catalog, but it's not on the retired list either. This set has two sayings. This one by Coco Chanel is my favorite.

We're going to a graduation party for my niece and nephew. My niece will be starting high school this school year. My nephew will be starting Kindergarten. So, what better graduation gift than cash! Again! This one is for my nephew. Here's the bank book. I love how the cookie and milk images turned out and how the sentiment matches. The cupcake, sentiments, and milk are from Stampin' Up. The cookie was stamped with an image from a stamp set by My Favorite Things. I cut out the "bite" with my scallop punch and then inked the edges.
Here's a close-up of the cherry on top of the cupcake. It's a skittle, one of my favorite embellishments.
Here's the gift box for my niece. I love the hearts. Another one of my favorite stamp sets by Papertrey Ink.

I made this lunchbox using the template by Lauren Meader. She's created so many amazing templates for Papertrey Ink. You can order them here. I kept this simple too since it was my first time making it. Although the template gives you instructions for the closure, I found that it doesn't stay closed when you place something inside it and try to carry it. You need something strong to keep the lid closed. I used one of my Basic Grey magnetic clasps. It works great! I can put several lotion bottles and it will hold it. Here's a picture with the box open. Plenty of room in it. I'm thinking of making one to put cookies and cocoa mix for Christmas presents. I'd probably use velcro instead for cost effectiveness.

One of the my "all SU!" swaps is to make a summer card. Well, I didn't have any summery SU! stamps or papers so this is what I came up with. I really like the Trendy Trees stamp set. I made the flowers using the Boho flower punch, cutting the leaves, and adding the circle in the middle. I cased this card by Mary Fish. Piercing the holes around the square was a challenge, especially when I had to make 13 of them!
